Elevate Heart Rate Everyday
A key to living a healthy lifestyle is having a healthy heart. Our doctors recommend everyone do at least 20-30 minutes of some form of cardiovascular activity at least 5-6 times per week.
We also suggest you purchase a heart rate monitor so you can see what your heart rate is at. Doing 20-30 minutes of cardiovascular activity everyday at about 60-70% your max heart rate is the ideal way to go for a very healthy heart.
The way you calculate maximum heart rate is by taking the number 220 and subtracting from your age. For example if you are 20 years old, your max heart rate is going to be 220 - 20 = 200.
60%-70% of that is between 120 and 140. Thats the heart rate number you should keep for optimal conditions if you are 20 years old to maintain a strong heart and burn unwanted fat cells.
